Community Hope of Laurel is our Hands of Hope Recipient for the Second Quarter of 2015!

Community Hope of Laurel serves those within the Laurel area by assisting individuals with basic living necessities during a time of need. Community Hope provides help with rent and utility assistance, provides free clothing, basic household items, and gives bi-monthly food boxes to families having to decide between purchasing medication, paying their heat bill or their mortgage and buying food for their families. They also provide gas vouchers to help families get to and from medical appointments and job interviews.

Another integral part of their services is handing out backpacks filled with school supplies for the children in the Laurel Community.

Our $10,000 donation will be used to fill the pantry at Community Hope so that they can continue to serve families in need.

The Hands of Hope Campaign is a Giving Project honoring local charities to serve those living and working in Yellowstone County. As a Hands of Hope recipient, Community Hope of Laurel has received the following:

$10,000 grant
A full page ad in the Billings Business Journal
Two 30 minute television commercials on KTVQ
Lobby signage
Social Media exposure on KTVQ, the WSB Facebook Page and the WSB Home Page
A volunteer service project performed by the team members of WSB

We are thrilled to honor Community Hope of Laurel so that they may continue to fulfill their mission to the community!
