Plus, you can enter to win one of six $1,500 scholarships awarded at the end of the school year.

Here's how it works...

  1. open a totally free checking account at western security bank. MINORS MUST have A co-signed ACCOUNT WITH A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN. If you already have a totally free checking account, you're good to go! No need to open a new one. OPEN AN ACCOUNT
  2. bring in your grades During the school year You can bring in your grades once every two months.  Any current grades reporting are accepted. (i.e. printed grades or your school's grade reporting app.) Stop by any Western Security Bank Branch to submit your grades.
  3. get rewarded!

    Earn $3 for every A, $2 FOR EVERY B (up to $20 per term). Score a $5 bonus for a 4.0 GPA.

    EARN AN EXTRA $5 FOR GOOD ATTENDANCE.

    Complete our Financial Literacy Course for an extra $10. Click here to get started!  Reach out to a branch after completion for payment.

Students ages 5-25 on the last day of the school year must be enrolled in a Montana public, private, homeschool, charter, 2- or 4-year college, or vocational school. Students must have a Western Security Bank (WSB) checking account; minors require a parent/guardian co-signer. Earn $3 per "A," $2 per "B" (or equivalent), with a $2 minimum and $20 maximum award per term, plus a $5 attendance bonus (one per term). Awards are deposited into the WSB primary checking account. WSB may modify or cancel the program at any time without affecting pending payments. Financial Literacy Incentive: GGP students with an open WSB checking account may earn a one-time $10 incentive for completing the GGP Financial Literacy Course.
Payment will be deposited within one month of the nearest report card submission. Scholarship: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You do not need to be a customer to enter. Open to eligible Montana students. See WSB website for official scholarship rules. Tax Obligations: Cash awards and/or scholarships may be tax reportable. Consult your tax advisor.
