Emily Cox Mortgage Manager
I was born and raised in Billings and graduated from MSU-Billings with a degree in Business with an Option in Finance in 2004. That same year, I married my high school sweetheart, and we bought our first home, which was financed through Western Security Bank! We are now enjoying raising our two kids in this great community.
My banking career started in 2002 as a part-time teller. Since then, I have worked in the consumer and commercial loan departments but found my true passion in the Real Estate Loan Department in 2010. I spent several years managing the processing, underwriting and closing side of real estate transactions, and now enjoy managing the wonderful Real Estate Lenders at Western Security Bank. Another exciting part of my job is originating residential real estate construction loans. I love watching the process of a home being built and feeling the excitement that my customers feel as the home progresses. I appreciate the opportunity to educate people when it comes to making one of the largest investments in their lifetime and also helping future generations achieve financial success through homeownership.
When not at work, I enjoy traveling and camping with my husband, kids, and our sweet golden retriever. I also enjoy being a member of the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County and find that it is extremely important to play an active role in keeping this community that I love a safe environment for current and future residents.
Please feel free to reach out to me or any of the Western Security Bank lenders with questions about purchasing, building, or refinancing a home. We would love to help!
